Maria Teresa Dizzia is an American actress. She portrayed Polly Harper on Orange Is the New Black in Seasons One and Two.
Early life[]
Dizzia grew up in Cranford, New Jersey and graduated from Kent Place School in 1993, receiving the Drama Award upon graduation. She studied theater at Cornell University. She received her Master of Fine Arts from the University of California, San Diego.
Career[]
Dizzia was nominated for the 2010 Tony Award for Best Performance by a Featured Actress in a Play for her performance in In the Next Room (or The Vibrator Play). Her performance was described as "standout" by The New York Times.
Personal life[]
Dizzia is married to playwright Will Eno and gave birth on August, 2014 to their first child, Albertine.
