Jorge "El Leon" Ruiz is the father of Maria Ruiz and head of a Dominican drug cartel. He is portrayed by Joseph Melendez.
Biography[]
Jorge is seen reunited with the men of his cartel, and then celebrates the birthday of his daughter Maria Ruiz. During the party, he financially helps a Dominican woman named Arlenis to pay for her son's surgery.
During Maria Ruiz's teenage years, her father-daughter relationship becomes troubled, especially when Maria begins dating Yadriel. After denying Dominican pride, Jorge expels her from home. ("Power Suit")
