Duray was a toughened teenager. She was rude, sarcastic and a bully with a violent streak.

Duray has brown skin, with black hair in braids. She is slim and tall.
Biography[]
Before Badison's incarceration[]
Jessie Duray was caught sleeping with her mother's boyfriend. During the resulting argument, she stabbed her mother.
While at camp, Jessie and several other girls are forced to do push-ups in the mud. Duray points out that the guides are not watching, and chooses to stop. Laura "Patty" Patterson agrees with her. The two become friends, then ask Madison Murphy what she did to be in the camp. After Madison tries to make herself seem tough, the two mock her.
While on a hike, Patty and Duray decide to tease both Grace "Roach" Campbell and Madison. First, Patty backs into Grace, who is holding Madison's water bottle, so she drops the bottle and spills Madison's remaining water. Then, Duray offers Madison her bottle of water, which is revealed to be filled with sand after Madison tries to take a swig.
Later, Madison accidentally sets Roach on fire, impressing both Patty and Duray. ("Changing Winds")
