Cathy

Cathy is an inmate at Litchfield Penitentiary Maximum Security. She is portrayed by Marcia DeBonis.

PersonalityEdit

Cathy is very talkative and considered to be very irritating to most of the inmate and guard population. She often speaks her mind and tends to waffle.

Physical AppearanceEdit

Cathy has curly brown/blonde hair. She is an overweight, older inmate.

BiographyEdit

Before LitchfieldEdit

Cathy mentions she has a middle son, implying she has more than one child. She also mentions the middle son's father was an alcoholic and her husband used to tell her to be quiet as well.

Season SixEdit

Cathy is first seen welcoming all the new minimum security inmates into MAX, and gives a normal day rota throughout the prison. She explains to her listeners she will not be silenced by her haters.

Later, Cathy reads her speech for the next day to Dayanara, who debates whether or not to take Daddy's oxy. ("I'm the Talking Ass")

Cathy can be heard during Mischief Night. She is seen recording during her talk show, and advises the inmates not to play pranks, and instead get into contact with their inner energies, and perform acts of kindness.

During Mischief Night, Cathy speaks until she begins screaming, causing the guards to check on her. After this, she is transferred to the SHU.("Mischief Mischief")

While walking through the SHU hallway, Luschek notices Cathy still giving talks without her show, several inmates tell her to be quiet. Luschek opens her hatch and tells her to stop, she does as she is told. ("Be Free")
